If I ever dreamed
'bout you. It doesn't matter,
You're in my arms now.
Watch you learn to crawl
Before you walk. Walk, before
you run. I see you.
Play, before you leave,
For the first time, for your school.
Where you write your thoughts,
Learn about true love,
Have your heart broken, and you
Leave to know the world.
Watch your children grow,
Like I, with you. Then I fade,
You start fading too.
