Liplock
"I just want to kiss you," we say, a dream, wish, and desire,
Our love growing passionate like a burning flaming fire.
For a moment, face to face, I’m lost in your beautiful brown eyes,
Our lips getting closer, arms with each other, heartbeat never dies.
”Your lips are like a scarlet thread, and your mouth is lovely,”
King Solomon said it best, that is how I would describe you from me.
Never have I seen lips so attractive and rosy,
Kissing your red smile would feel like home and so cozy.
My heart races, beats faster still, my love overflowed,
Our lips meeting together, I think my mind would explode.
A kiss so deep, filled with longing and emotions,
A kiss so romantic, thoughts flooding like many oceans.
A kiss so peaceful, eyes closed like we’re about to pray,
But how can I be speaking when you take my breath away?
A kiss so silent, yet filled with our growing love,
As we give thanks for our relationship to the God above.
A kiss so simple, to others it seems like a common liplock,
But for me everything would stop, my attention not even to the clock.
A kiss so lovely, like a house on the windy prarie,
A kiss that reminds me, “This is the girl I want to marry.”
Our love is so intimate even through the distance,
I wish we could meet in person, the problem fixed in an instance.
But I will keep on dreaming because it is so sweet,
Longing and loving the day we again will meet.
Let our love grow stronger even when our lips cannot embrace,
But I hope one day my lips can kiss you and say, “I LOVE YOU, GRACE.”
Your kiss is the sweetest place I call home, honey.
