A HIGH SCHOOLER’S SAGA
WOW! I am in my new school and I’m now realizing that I’m through with the first three years of high school. HUH! Three more years to go, but this time around, it’s SENIOR high school. You know how nervous you feel when you break your mom’s favorite mug (in fact, when you break anything in the house) and you know exactly how she’ll react to the news. Yeah, that’s exactly how I felt realizing that I’m going to spend another three years of my life with people from almost every part of the country and with different attitudes and personalities. It’s not about how nervous you’ll feel to tell mom the truth but it’s about how scared you are to touch anything because everything is mom’s favorite. You know what, thinking about it, I think there is a huge difference between the nervousness you feel when you know you are in trouble and the one I felt as I sat like a total stranger among eighty other students (maybe less). FIRST days are the WORST days. Or are they? The first few seconds were AWKWARD and then it started to warm me up . . . However, bad is not a word to describe my day neither is good. I’ll say for the first day, it was OKAY.
