Four.
They hang on the corners like handles. Garish and unapologetic. A split circle sandwich.
Dust bunched up around the base of crude cartilage coins. A pair of sand coloured seals frame where the back wall ends and the ears begin.
Consuming sound like predatory plants consume prey. Waves fall into the holes and slowly decompose.
Words bounce about the building like balls. Energy expressed in intonation. The concepts change with the stars. Friends. Careers. Hopes. Fears. Hearts. Spears.
They treat all of it equally. It's just food after all.
