Studio Apartment
Every year new tenants arrive.
Different people, stories, lives.
A young couple looking to make it in the city.
Hardly seeing each other because they're so busy.
A single mother struggling to pay the rent,
She works two jobs and gives it 100 percent.
A law student studying and drinking.
Vodka helps with his analytic thinking.
A woman living in fear,
Of the day her ex-boyfriend may appear.
No matter who it is, the day or year,
Remember, the walls have ears.
