Wrist of Charms
Tied to a chair in the basement
sweatin' like a hog, and I'm just coming to
My eyes scan for an instrument
through the concussed fog, my mind is swimming through
Frantic, furious, struggling
I have to break free, before they cross the line
Thoughts drift to thoughts so troubling
they took my Amy, their sacrificial shrine
A flash of light signals my eye
the gardener's sickle, shines like Excalibur
I gnash and fight against my ties
my bound wrists trickle, I won't leave without her
Crashing down and breaking the chair
I break my legs free, and rise like a Demon
The shiny scythe answers my prayer
it's singing to me, my bloody binds undone
Exploding through the door possessed
slicing ear to ear, I hear her curdled screams
Throwing steel at every chest
she's all I can hear, as the evil blood streams
Finally I reach the alter
free her from the chain, and take her in my arms
Stepping down the steps I falter
but I feel no pain, protected by her charms
