Panic and peace
Printed on trembling fingers
Touched only by the bowing drywall
As they curl into fists
Hidden from the world
Binded anger, fury falling against the paint
Mask slipped away
Then righted
Not peace
Nor panic
Just nothing
Just blank
Just like they want.
