Beware His Eyes
Beware his eyes that burn vermillion
Mighty terrorizer of midnight civilians
With his junoesque, serpentine exterior
In his erudite, mortals inferior
No love canst thou find,
Upon looking in his villainous eyes
Accented by a mane of fiery eglantine
For vengeance, he does whine
Beware his eyes of prophetic vision
Interpretations full of derision
For souls swindled by his words,
Are oft’ found carted in a hearse
No peace canst thou find,
To the frigid depths, he is confined
In a field of bioluminescent roses,
He sneers at this poet’s proses
