Wash away my bloody veil
Wash away my sins
Lead me back to the scene so I might break away these fortress walls,
To make right on what should have been.
These cage walls and narrow halls are harbouring the worst that I have been.
The blood stained tears and idle hands,
Have wreaked havoc and hell
Within mutual lands.
To bring truth from behind the veil,
From behind which I hide in fear,
My crimes shall be hailed.
Tie the noose around my sixty day bed,
Pull it tight so I cannot be freed,
From my internal torment and dread.
But should I awake,
And breathe in a new day,
I will find myself here once again anyway
