Deep Cuts
In a world where everyone
Treats true love like a game
We all have deep cuts
And we all bleed the same
Relationships a deck of cards
Everybody places the blame
Thousands of different endings
But we all bleed the same
We let it run our lives
Though it has no proper name
Bringing happiness or heartbreak
So we all bleed the same
Whether win or lose
Whether success or shame
Everyone continues to play
Until it’s no longer a game
