To Heal is a Luxury
Remember when you were 3 years old? When you fell down the street chasing the cute puppy that caught your eyes.
Your knees were bleeding but you chase it anyway, unable to comprehend the feels as excitement run in your vein.
But in the corner of the street, when the excitement drenched your tiny trousers along with the blood, you started to look down and realized your knees hurt.
It took days, some might weeks, for the wounds to heal properly. The wounds that happened in a split seconds during the long chase.
Some people are lucky enough to have it healed properly and start another chase. But some people not that lucky as they had worse injuries. It needed months, or years, for the cuts to heal properly. Many of them even had the injuries for the rest of their life.
Not because they enjoy the pain.
Not because they didn’t try to heal it.
Because some injuries are far too complicated for people to heal properly.
