Where my Demons Hide
You might not want to visit my mind that's where all my demons dwell.
Cause if you do your sure to find a scene some would describe as Hell
Your teeth will gnash as morals clash and fight within my brain.
And demons thrash, and curse, and slash, while straining at their chains.
So tempt them not for years I've fought to keep them all at bay.
And if their freed I doubt we'd ever see the light of day.
So please believe me when I say it’s a sight best left unseen.
There a cruel, vicious, hateful bunch, and that's when their nice to me!
Your heart will weep as shadows creep spreading there decay.
And if your got there's nothing I can tell you but to pray!
Farewell to all your restful nights if you peer inside my head.
For how can one sleep peacefully with all-consuming dread.
Don't say I didn’t warn you, I told you not to look.
Yet you persist and still insist you'll cure me with your book.
Why bother with the warnings? It always ends the same.
I tell them not to look; they do, and now were both insane.
