You're falling slowly, at a snails pace, deeper and deeper.
Nothing but you and your thoughts within miles.
Silence devours you as you drift downwards, into the abyss.
You open your eyes.
It burns, but you keep them open.
You like the pain.
Your precious air is slowly being stolen
By this invisible monster that possesses you now.
Glimpses of light penetrate the surface and shimmer like tiny golden fish.
You watch as they fade into blackness.
A tight pain forms in your chest.
It spreads to your neck,
Then your head.
The pressure is unbearable.
You close your eyes as the last wisp of air you posess is lost to this inevitable monster.
He silently claims his prize.
