Rebellious About Religion
Just like forcing a little kid to eat his greens, Drakes parents forced him to follow their religion. He grew up all his life believing and never questioning, until he found some new friends. over the course of the next year, these guys became his best friends and showed him another point of view on life and another way to believe. As time went on, Drake began to fight more and more with his parents about their religion, because he had chosen the path he wants to walk down. As time passed, (along with more and more fights) Drake became more and more angry. He eventually tried to talk to his parents as little as possible and he shut himself in his room playing his video games almost all the time. He gained immense weight and started to never go out, only listening to sad songs alone is his room. His parents just kept on shoving the religion down his throat. Eventually he turned to drugs, and thats when the dropoff was even more immense than before. He wanted to do nothing else but sit in his room and cry, his friends never even thought about him anymore and he didn't feel like he needed to be on this planet anymore. His only friend left, Bill, showed up to have a conversation with him the day that he was ready to take his own life. He informed Drake that he talked to his parents about it and he could come live with him and his family. The biggest smile that had been on his face in a year arose from his face, and for the first time in a long time, he had a real, genuine, hug from someone that cared about him. Drake let his parents know the deal, and the next day he packed and left. Bill was a true friend, enough to help Drake lose all the weight he gained and get his life back on track. He finally got back into sports and hanging with his friends and never looked back on his past life. He was happier than he had ever been. He didn't see his parents for years to come, not that they cared. He lived the rest of his teen years out with Bill and his family. They never forced him into things and always wanted him to be comfortable.
