Gravest Decision
He was taken for a fool
How so very cruel
He took that hand,
Up in the clouds
It was an angel's
Yet a devil's too
A double edged sword
When he realized his mistake
The deed was done,
Putting him in a grueling state
Strung in a web
Cheated out of life
His head now cold
His heart struck lifeless
Family of Lies
Could it stay
Or was I wrong
A happy family
To dawn upon
With smiles of glee
And hearts of love
A perfect family
Pure like doves
Although a fizzure formed inside
It hurt the dinamic
A wide divide
It stung deep
I could feel its effects
Which bubbled within
As an evil complex
So easily covered
So easily devised
They kept in their troubles
Which destroyed my mind
Perfect all the Same
Dusk overtook the evening sky
A field covered in frost, a barren pine,
Its color from past seasons, lost
Few needles left upon its sickly branches
Quietly, a child shuffled towards the shriveled trunk;
In his imagination carrying a garland, bright and shiny
He wrapped the wreath, imagining it
From lowest limb to highest peak
Across its outstretched boughs.
A new beauty dawned upon its barren surface
The ancient evergreen somehow revived,
Smelling of fresh sap, gleaming with icy brilliance
Snow returned, drifting down once more
The white flakes starting a vigorous dance
Shivering beneath the tree with pride
A toothy grin spreading wide
Moonlight striking it from up high
Stars twinkling from behind
Wind murmuring through the pine
Withered but perfect all the same
A present that none could take away...
Blurry
A name, something that sings out to the world who you are
I am something yet nothing
What I mean is that my identity is somewhat a mystery to me
Figuring out who I am and what my name means
It isn’t something I’ve had time to think deepy about
So I guess my name is nothing, at least for the moment
My thoughts picture a perfect self
Someone who I strive to be, yet such an image is blurry
An picture which I simply can’t make out even though I try so hard to see what is displayed on its surface
Clouded In Shadows
Life is an ongoing sea in which so many drown in as they swim in its depths
They sufficate because of the overwhelming darkness that makes up their lives
People become frightened
Reach out to the fallen, reach out to the darkness with your light
So many have such a hard time, but that doesn't have to be the case
Stretch out your hand to any whom may need it
We live in a cruel world full of corruption and despair
The happiness in life is many a times clouded by the wicked smirk of evil
Don't be scared of living because if you live in fear then the darkness will win
And the light shall fade into the shadows
The Beasts From Heaven
Prancing through the fields full of delight
A creature of pure beauty that illuminates at night
Through the breeze it fights
Survival is its goal
Most are dreamed about with a pure soul
Magic at its purest escapes from their horns
Rarely are such beings ever born
Rebel it does against the darkness of war
Yet still does it fight, even if it may be done for
A Lost Voice
Intolerance, blocking you out from all the world, shuting you within a small room that may never expand
A manipulative voice that whispers in your ear
It calls to you, tells you that nothing else is right
Your opinion matters, for none can dispute it
It chuckles to itself for the trouble it has caused, and the doubt it has induced
What shall you do, give in or become the bigger person?
For do you have the right to decide?
