Your Candlelight
I’ll light a little candle,
and place it at your door.
There a I shall keep it,
forever more.
Whenever life seems dark or dim,
Just look into it’s light,
My candle burns for you,
ever so bright.
When your scared and lonely,
or don’t know what to do,
just look outside your doorway,
where my candle burns for you.
And if you ever lose your way,
and life seems so very stark,
Remember even the smallest candle,
Burns brighter in the dark.
Cloak of Shadows
The devil wears a cloak of shadows,
And a mask painted with lies.
Innocence quickly fading away,
From all your secrets he unties.
His eyes blaze with flames of Gold and Blue,
A sinister smirk on his face.
He offers deals too good to be true,
He has you think it's just a race.
The devil wears a cloak of shadows,
And a charm he uses as bait.
Don’t worry too much my dear,
Your soul is the low price you pay for this fate.
