Red
The darkness suits you,
As do screams and gasps, and shots,
And all things that the night embodies.
You're colorblind,
Yet blood red dawn and fiery poppies
Reflect upon your tortured soul
And fail oft to go unnoticed.
The rubies call you, fire burns
Inside your heart of molten lava
The cherries burst when rosy lips
Of blushing girls in silky sheets
To open air softly murmur:
We all bleed the same...
