One of these things is not like the others...
1. I have visited several European countries, including Spain, France, and Germany.
2. I work as the Stage Manager for the plays and musical productions held at my school.
3. Ever since I was a kid I have had an irrational fear of bridges.
4. Starting in the fifth grade, I have played the flute and I am still playing it as I continue through high school.
Peter, You Were Right..
I think Pan had it right. Growing old is a big fat illusion, and one of life's biggest, cruelest jokes. Adulthood is a trap, and I'm set on a one way path straight towards it. As a kid, there was nothing I wanted more than to grow up. I wanted the new opportunities that came with higher age. I always wanted to be older, because the big kids always got to have the most fun... But being older isn't all it's cracked up to be. I'm being thrown head-first into the raging white waters of life, and I can't even tell which way is up anymore. I'm drowning in responsibilities and requirements and expectations...
I look ahead at the terrifying river of life and can't help but think... Pan had it right..
The Difference is in the Absence
The day I spend without you. Light shines upon the empty space beside me. The Sun, the clouds, the sky, all are present, but I can't help but notice what isn't. You aren't with me in the day time. Warm weather can not replace the the touch of your skin. Sounds of nature can not replace the beauty of your voice. The day I spend alone.
The night I spend with you. Darkness envelopes me, as do the thoughts of you. Nighttime brings dreams of us together. Again, I can feel your touch, your warmth, your presence. Once more I can hear your voice. The night has no need of replacing you, because your place beside me is no longer empty. The night we spend together.
You ask the difference between day and night, I tell you this. The difference is in the absence.
The Dodger
With the ability to teleport, it's nearly impossible for anyone to get their hands on this hero. The Dodger has the capability of evaporating her molecules by spontaneously super heating, which then allows her to effectively move from one place to another.
Of course with great power comes great responsibilities, and also limits. The Dodger can NOT teleport through solid objects. If evaporated water could not make it through something, neither could she. This makes out door traveling a breeze, but The Dodger can find herself in a tricky situation when trapped in a solid and sealed room.
The Dodger also has a high skill in combat. Her strategy is stealthy and quick, which compensates for not being as large or strong as opponents. This adds to her evasiveness, and helps her rightfully earn the title of The Dodger.
Steve Rogers
Who better to date than the greatest gentlemen of all?
I would have to say that Captain America, the incredible super soldier, would be my choice for a fictional boyfriend. If there was a better, more genuinely good, kind-hearted man in the world, real or fictional, I have not yet found him.
However, there would be about a 100 year age difference.... Though age is only but a number.
