It is known to have one of the richest histories. There are several historic landmarks and long sandy beaches where you can hang out along with your friends and family. Another signature landmark is the neighbouring town of Mahabalipuram which is quite famous for is ancient temples and rock carvings. In my experience, Chennai is the most visited city in India by tourists from all over the world. This is primarily due to heritage destinations like Mahabalipuram. Some of the top places that you can visit in Chennai include the Marina Beach, Kapaleeshwarar temple and the Chennai Railway station. The best time to visit Chennai is during the winter months that begin from October and last till March. One of the best places to stay at during your stay here include the Leela palace and the Trident.

Hence, I booked APSRTC bus tickets from https://www.redbus.in/online-booking/apsrtc.aspx this amazing quick bus reservation portal issued tickets securely. I booked an APSRTC AC Semi Sleeper Garuda bus that left from Chennai at 5pm and reached Vijayawada at 1:15am. The staff in the bus was polite and took good care of the passengers.
