Not What It Seems...
In a short, not more than 50 words, start with something that seems beautiful but surprises us, or perhaps begin with something that seems sinister and turns out to be quite lovely. However you'd like to go. See my example if you need a hint, but feel free to take the prompt as you wish! God bless and much success! PLEASE tag me @LexiCon in the comments after you've finished your piece). It's been a while since I've hosted a challenge (and really interacted much with the site in general) I pray you've all been well! Much love.

Writing with a quote
Write a story with the quote "I don't miss them. I just miss who I thought they were. " It can be in the story or just the idea of the quote
Rainbow
Five heartbeats jumping until I can no longer hear my own.
Red, Yellow, Blue, Orange, and Green.
Red went with the sun, drifting further until I could no longer stand the burning rays.
Next was blue , It's becoming harder to make myself forget you, please forgive me.
Orange was so kind and gentle, will she remember me? I won't forget.
Green was never mine, he was never mine, but I still think he was.
Yellow, always in the wrong place, was misplaced, that was my mistake.
They aren't missed, I still see them on rainy days.
And after how bright I've become, I can hear my heartbeat.
