Write a Ketek
One of my favorite authors, Brandon Sanderson, created a short poetry form called a ketek. It’s a short reflexive form of poetry in which every word is mirrored around a center word. The word forms can change, noun to adjective, future past, etc (ex: happy can turn into happiness, slept to sleeping or sleep). You can put in any punctuation but no added words that don’t mirror.
Here’s an example from one of his books:
“You, always about dreams. My soul weeps. Farewell weeping soul. My dreams about, always, you. “
So the challenge is write a ketek. It could be about whatever you want, just follow the rules.

First lines
Write the best first sentence you’ve seen in a book, or first line in a poem, or a first sentence or line from one of your own works. No explanation, no context, just the line and where it’s from
