There are times you think you're loved,

Until you get reminded otherwise,

There are times when someone shows you you're needed,

Most days you sink in this otherwise,

Then one day someone shows you different , the same spectrum but a different wavelength.

They don't show you otherwise,

Even though it creeps behind you otherwise.

She looks at me and asks , what's your name?

The wrath in her eyes sends a shiver down my spine,

I let out a breath ,

It flashes across my mind ,

I see a blue ocean painted below a bleak sky,

The waves kissing the rocks ,

I hear the anger of the waves that were pushed back by the rocks,

The light from the bleak sky above looks down at the waves with sympathy,

Then with all their might the waves lunge themselves towards the rocks,
