Insperation
Inspiration,
What a magical sensation,
It starts in your toes,
Travels up to your nose,
The more you think about it,
The better it gets,
The more it grows,
No matter who it benefits,
The people around you,
Ones far away,
To the students the thinkers the writers and the avererage people,
When your idea gets done and you know that you won,
But you can’t help but think how about a sequel?
It can be anything really the idea you make,
Saving the polar ice caps or building a new fish tank,
You have to do whatever it takes,
Get your big break,
The world is your easel you make the art,
Your mind your paintbrush,
The start is the hardest,
The very first stroke,
You have to show those haters it is no joke,
Be the new pope,
You know you can do it,
At least you hope,
But doubt is errelivent,
Something you don’t have to tote.
As you hang up your coat,
You think back to those days,
The ideas so bright,
That’s how you earn your living,
Pay your bills,
Fly your kite,
I know those days are out of sight but you did it all big and small,
Life is bright you’re standing tall,
Now you thank your inspiration for it gave can give you anything at all.
When inspiration strikes,
Listen.
Bravery
The courageous Knights,
How the people strive to be them,
The way they stand up in the face of danger,
Yet people don’t realize that they themselves can become the courageous people that they crave,
You don’t have to send a ferocious Dragon to its grave,
You don’t have to go into the wilderness and make paths to pave.
You can stand up every day,
In the way of people wishing others pain,
Instead of daggers and swords in this age it’s words that take their course,
Sowing the seeds of remorse,
People every day stand up and don’t give into rage,
When their internet posts and their positions in their jobs besieged,
They don’t give into greed,
They stay their post,
Return others toasts,
Never ever stooping down to the same ground,
As the dragons and the clowns,
The old Knights are strong don’t get me wrong,
The new Knights are even stronger.
Their swords their words,
Their shields how they feel and what is real,
Their armor their confidence and not self doubt,
Their horses are chairs that they sit in to earn their fares,
Their reward not gold but triumph,
The dragons and ogres are haters and trollers.
The Knights of this century have courage a plenty,
Maybe more then the ones of old or so their told,
But they can’t let self doubt to take hold,
The Knights are every day people like you and me,
They are the ones that change what they see,
And they make this old world better,
For you and me,
They are courageous and Knights.
Good and bad
A classic movie situation: good and bad,
Not a thought to be had,
You know right at the opening scene,
Who is nice and who is mean.
The Sith and the Jedi,
The light and the dark,
The man and the monster,
Understanding and strife.
Though you have to ask: how is this connected to life?
The answer my friend is not where we begin,
It is perspective and what we've got in our heads,
The way we see right and wrong,
It depends on our side.
People try to do their best with good intentions,
Yet the more powerful sides gives the others pensions,
It is not right or wrong,
It depends how you sing your song.
There is no good or bad there is only perspective,
The Sith think their way is better,
The Jedi think it's theirs,
Yet there's a better solution to the Star Wars,
They need to sit down to make others see reason,
With words and not treason,
Perspective is a powerful thing,
It starts wars and ends them and sometimes does something in between.
Perspective is strong.
Mindset
When our minds are growing,
It’s bound to hurt,
Plants have to break through the dirt,
Everything has to grow at some point,
You can’t stay in the earth protected from all the hurt.
But people need to grow you see,
This includes changing your volcabulary,
I don’t know is incorrect,
You can find the word don’t be upset,
For the word you are seeking for very much belongs
The word is yet, and here’s how it’s used,
I don’t know yet.
This is a magical phrase,
One you can use for the rest of your days,
For my friend you can see your intellect isn’t sealed,
You have to work for the things in life,
When you start out in life you don't just get your deed,
Effort is all you need to succeed.
Let me put it in other words so I can be better heard,
Nobody in this world can lose if you look at it in this way,
“I never lose I either win or I learn”
Yes if you ask I got that from a poster,
So when ever you want to you can step up onto the roller coaster called life.
There is not a hieght limit for this ride,
The only thing you need to have is the readiness to grow,
If you fall you’ll get up you know the world is a plane ready to be flew.
Carpaydiem seize the day,
Your attitude will never decay,
The growth mindset is what it is called,
Now don’t forget if you fall,
You can do all.
Trolls and other stuff
Trolls,
They sow the seeds of hate in all the hurtful comments that they paste.
They make people want to faint and cry out in dismay.
But let's put ourselves in their shoes.
They themselves have countless blues.
The comments have become their life .
A way to get out sorrow and strife.
As they sit day after day and pasting and wasting their life away.
We think of haters when we think of trolls.
Always up for debate, putting others down.
But really they are jealous clowns.
Not willing to put themselves out in this hateful world.
Never wanting to get on the roller coaster of life with its ups and downs.
Unwilling to take on the frowns.
But what they don't know is that all this makes us stronger.
All the mistakes the trolls have yet to face will only give knowledge not pain.
But they sit in their house as scared as a mouse the shame is too strong for them to move on.
The ones who do try are the most successful of all.
Mistakes are good big or small.
People like mistakes they show you are human.
What is wrong though is when you don't learn.
See mistakes as a way to go deeper and understand further.
Not as something to cover up and to never do again.
Mistakes are what makes the world go round.
The Clock
The ticking it never stops
Not even for the rain that comes in drops
Or even for the frogs that hops
They are often put in squares here and there
Yet they never cease to show up everywhere
On wrists, on walls and bedside tables
It works with wires, plugs and cables
It uses hands like you and me yet has organs of machinery
Often associated with antiquity
It can be a cuckoo or a grandfather
It houses birds and chimes at three
It is a clock
