Skewed Perfection
In what love? In what war? When two are one in the same; beget neither without the other.
In this bloodless battle field we scorn each other.
No one beyond this point of return halts to turn to us. We've made ourselves unbearable, unbelievable but insatiable.
Only these roughly scaled hands can bare your serpentine-hearted ways.
You have poisoned me in all ways: from my mind, to my soul, in the air I breathe, in the water I drink - nothing tastes quite as great without your conflict.
One day you'll drown me in those eyes. The water ways of which I forgive you in my untimely mishap. And even in my demise I thank you.
Destroy me because I want more. Shake the remanants of measly being to it's downtrodden core.
Take from me all I have left.
Birthed from the tiny ray of light, embroidered in skewed perfection.
This is love.
