Creation Myth for a Work in Progress
Thousands of years prior to the creation of Juasol(joo-ah-sole) the void folded in on itself giving birth to Munkon(moon-con). Over thousands of years Munkon gained sentience and experienced loneliness. Wishing for a companion Esikon(ess-ee-con) came into existence. This was when Munkon realized it was formless. The same as Esikon. Munkon realized Esikon was birthed from its power and began to mold its companion and itself into a form to better communicate. The first and easiest form was that of a long snake. When trying to communicate Munkon realized Esikon did not have consciousness like it did. Munkon copied its own personality and bestowed it upon Esikon. From there Munkon learned more about itself and the power it held. With the help of Esikon it gave birth to drana(draw-naw), to light dotting the universe in which they resided. Munkon and Esikon mourned the emptiness and so they set to fill it with life or jokamen (jo-kah-men). The life would surround the drana so they could bask in the light. The first experiments did not go well. But they allowed Munkon to realize their own forms were basic and weak. Munkon vowed to give them forms deserving of the fact they existed. Thousands of years and majim(ma-jeem) filled with life passed. Munkon and Esikon had become grand in form and stature. Munkon still humble while Esikon became obsessed with being worshipped by those they gave life. In time Munkon created the basis for Juasol and the jokamen that would live around the drana. Esikon suggested to force the jokamen to worship them as deities. Munkon disagreed. They argued for thousands of years about the merits for and against the worship. All the while Munkon shaped the bodies of the jokamen. Munkon realized through this long discussion that its creations should know where they come from. As they came from it, Munkon shaped the jokamen in its form. Gifting them all a portion of its power as well as the ability to change form. Esikon was still adamant about being worshipped and descended on the primitive jokamen with its massive shape. Munkon contemplated and decided it could not destroy Esikon. Esikon was simply itself on another path. In order to make Esikon learn Munkon split its compatriot into five infant jokamen, facets of Esikon’s personality. Immortal and gifted with great power. Bound to the majim for as long as it took Esikon to reform when all parts had learned humility. Munkon was left alone while the child jokamen grew from their primitive state. Munkon would watch and sometimes visit Juasol to check its progress but never interfered or demanded reverence.
