Irrational behavior can not be understood

Many things this past year have caused me to ask and question, "WHY???"

Why did my ex husband turn his back on our children? Why did he abandoned them??? Why did my son get involved in soliciting child pornography??? Why did he molest a young girl??? Why??? Why??? Why the fuck WHY???

Then I realized. I will never understand. Irrational behavior can not be understood.

It can only be accepted. Then only after accepting it's happening can I move forward and heal. I'm done trying to figure out why it happened. It is what it is. It happened and I can't change that.

I'll never understand, but I can learn to accept it.
