Day One: The Bombs
Sirens are screaming, people are running, children are crying, families are worrying, nobody is ready, everybody is scared. That's because today began the end of the world, and it all started with the bombs.
It was just a regular day at first. Kids were in school and parents at work. Then all of a sudden nationwide panic. A bomb had been dropped just off the East coast. It created a mushroom big enough for China to see, but it wasn't the impact that people were afraid of. It was the smog that came after it. A smog so thick and so poisonous it smothered you in seconds. People off the East coast became sick in minutes, throwing up blood and having weird cravings. Cravings for meat. Even the strongest willed vegans broke their promises and ate meat. But soon that wasn't enough for them. People started...turning. Not just on animals, but each other. Now everyone is terrified, everyone is preparing, and everyone is dying.
Instinct
Green is good it means go.
Blue is great it means sky.
Red is bad it means foe.
Yellow means caution but try.
They are hard to read
But they're often in life
You just gotta see
Then there will be no strife
Just follow that voice
It's what you feel
It's your first choice
It's really real
All you need is you
Something you love
Maybe a Cross or two
And you can fly like a dove
Just look for the signs
Just listen for the codes
Get the right times
There's different modes
You need to link
Listen to everything
You need to think
This isn't a fling
If you can trust
If you can dream
Then you really must
Life is more than it seems.
