The Earth is Our Home
The earth is our home
We live here very true
With bugs and plants
And also animals too
They live on earth
They die here as well
some Have fur and skin
some have wings or a shell
For they treat the earth a special way
Don’t take more than needed don’t throw things away
They take and give
They help it out
They do a better job than us even though they can’t talk
When will we learn to act like this too
To treat the earth like the animals do
Is it when the sun can’t shine
through the blue sky
How about when the moon and stars
Finally, say goodbye
Could it be when the last tree leaf falls down
Or the fruits are gone and there are no cows
When the animals we love
Are all caged and bound
When the kids don’t know how green trees turn brown
Or when there’s no honey
Because there are no bees to be found
When what we know will all be a legend
Or when the trumpets blow down from heaven
If we keep this up there will
Be no more earth
Because of our own stupidity
We will get hurt
The blame is no ones
But our own
but we can change this
And save our home
