Its 12 am,

and the latern is lit.

The clock slowly ticks,

as a man in black sits.

The wind shifts,

and the man turns into mist.

Seems as though he was never there,

must be something in the air.

What do you you wish for?

Don't we all want something?

And, weren't we told, that, if we tell people what we wish for, it won't come true?

Maybe it's a scheme decided by all parents. Because they know wishes don't come true.

So, they use something simple.

"Don't tell your friends, or anyone, or it won't come true."

And the ones that believed them, kept their wish, and, that is how they learned,

Life isn't what it seems, and even something as simple as a wish.

Can make someones world change from a fairytale, to a sad ending.
