A Close Call
Today, my family and I went on a hike in the canyon and my mom was walking in the front, not really look where she was going when my sister spotted a huge rattle snake stretched out on the trail in front of us. She yelled to my mom to warn her and thankfully she stopped herself just in time from stepping on it. We probably all know that feeling of a rush of adrenaline and your heart pounding so hard you can feel it in your chest. It's when you know you came very close to a situation you'd rather avoid. I'm interested to hear everyone's stories! Please tag me @Scrubjay so I can see your prose!
