Blend
I strive to blend, like a chameleon unseen,
In the tapestry of life, where I aim to convene,
To walk in shadows, unnoticed and calm,
But sometimes, I break the silence, like a sudden alarm.
I laugh too loud, my steps too swift,
In the stillness of the crowd, a distinct shift,
I speak in peculiar ways, my words a unique blend,
At those moments, I long to blend, to seamlessly transcend.
Yet, in these abnormalities, I find,
A palette of colors in the canvas of my mind,
For though I yearn to blend, to be just like the rest,
It's these vibrant hues that make me, at my best.
So I'll embrace the moments, when I stand apart,
As a chameleon in the crowd, with a colorful heart,
For in these unique shades, I'll find my own way,
To blend when I wish, and stand out, come what may.
Birth's gentle embrace,
Innocence in life's first breath,
A new journey starts.
Youthful days unfold,
With boundless dreams and laughter,
Life's vibrant colors.
Midlife's steady stride,
Responsibilities grow,
A purpose takes hold.
Age graces the soul,
Wisdom in the fading light,
A lifetime's passage.
Twilight casts its veil,
In the quiet of the night,
A peaceful farewell.
