I'm a writer trapped within the pit of Writer's Block Hell...
I read this prompt years ago and it stuck with me.
A demon/monster is assigned to terrorize a child; this is nothing new to this demon/monster, as this has been their job since time began. However, this time, they quickly discover the child they have been assigned is true evil and is far more frightening than any demon/monster could be.
So what is this child? Why is he/she so evil? What are they doing and who is his/her victims?
Write the story in the form of the demon/monster writing a report on the child for their boss/supervisor, requesting a transfer, because they are too afraid to deal with the child.

Past Lives
Do you believe you have had one? If so, why? Do you have clear memories or fuzzy impressions or dreams that haunting your waking hours?
Tell me about it or them. As much as you remember or as much as you are comfortable sharing. I will share my own in the comments the day before the challenge ends.
I hated to put a word limit, but let's say 4,000 words max. More than one entry is cool. No mocking anyone for believing in past lives.

And they lived Happily Ever After…but did they really? What’s happening with Snow White and Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella twenty years or so after the story we know ended? Are they really happy? Are they divorced? In marriage counselling? Is Ariel sleeping with the pool boy? Has Rapunzel willing returned to the tower to escape her teenage children and her husband?
Pick any storybook or movie princess and show us what’s happening in their lives. You can stick with the original timeline or place them in a modern-day setting.

I posted this prompt on another site a while back but no one responded so I thought you guys might like it...
PROMPT - All the book, all the movies, they were exactly right about what zombies would look like when they returned from the grave. They were even accurate about their cravings for human flesh. What they got wrong? The zombies were not mindless. They remembered who they had been and who others had been to them, yet they were still monsters - but they were monsters capable of looking you in the eye and begging, "Momma, please don't!" as you prepared to end them to save a dozen others.
no real rules, you decide the length and who the person faces that is now a zombie
