Love Letter (Written February 2012)

As you know I lost my card and so couldn’t make a purchase

But rest assured that all is well – this poem serves a purpose

The purpose is to say to you how much I really care

My wish to spend all time with you is always in my prayers

I’ve never felt this way about any person, really

You fill me with so much life and let me live so freely

I cannot wait to see you next because it’s always heaven

The love that we together share is just so freakin’ splendid

I want to roam the world with you and surf the Waves of Life

I long to kiss you everywhere and take you to new heights

Cupid must have got me good ’cause my Heart’s wholly yours

The love that we can cocreate shall open magic doors

You fill me with so much Rhyme despite my tie to Reason

I compare our wholesome love right to the Summer season

You’re witty and pretty and genius, too

You opened my Heart, so natural and true

I cannot imagine a future minus you

To lose what we have would just make me a fool

For you above ALL I honor the Golden Rule

So let’s keep holding hands through this Journey of Life

And get to the point where we’ve owned all the strife
