Today is the Day
Today is the day. I see him walking down the hall. I immediately start fidgting. I can’t back out now. If I don’t do it today I never will.
I take a step towards him, my feet feeling as if they are made of lead. This is a bad idea. I already now it won’t end well but I have to do it. I finally make my way up to him and start to talk.
“So, I was wondering...” I let my voice trail off. I never noticed how bright the lights were. Maybe I should look at those instead of do this.
“Wondering?” He asks, seemingly annoyed by sudden fascination with the lights. I snap out of it and continue.
“Oh, um, well. Do you wanna go to the movies with me?” I blurted out. He didn’t answer for a few seconds. But it felt like hours before he finally answered me.
“No.”
I shuffle off awkwardly into the bathroom. I didn’t realize how sweaty my palms were until I got in there. Is it notmal for a person to sweat that much?
Well one things for certain. Today was not the day.

The Girl I Used to Know
The world did not end in a bang or a whisper, but rather one scream at a time. All because of her. She was merciless, killing children and toddlers, adults and teens. Anybody who she took as a threat, could be considered dead. Apparently she was threatened by the whole world. She had done all of this, yet I once considered her my friend, a long time ago. She was going to change the world but instead she made it burn at her feet.
