What?
What did you say?
I have just 60 more minutes to live, did you say?
Really!
How can it be?
I am at the top of my being now.
Tick.Tick.
The minute passed away.
Now, I have just 59 of them.
“What do I do?” my brain screams.
What is most important in my life?
Where will I go after I die?
Have I settled my accounts with God.
A silent prayer takes up my last few minutes as I seek the Holy writ before I submit, surrender kneel and pray.
“O Lord my God! Here I am, your humble servant. I am coming to you. You have given me the privilege of calling You as my Father. You sent your Son to die for me. His sacrifice enables me now, to call you as my Father God. Forgive me Lord for the sake of my Lord and your Son, Lord Jesus Christ. Accept me as I am. Take me as you made me. Thank you.”
A sense of shalom, un-understandable peace engulfs me as I kneel.
He is taking me.
“How joyous this is! Praise You Lord God!” I say as I have to stop.
My sixtieth minute is ticking… ticking.... I am gone!
