i love you i love you i love you
shakespeare once said "i love you" thrice within a three paragraph essay without actually saying the words i love you. this excerpt i resided with for a great deal of time, how could one love someone so.
"‘Hear my soul speak. Of the very instant that I saw you, Did my heart fly at your service’
(The Tempest – Act 3, Scene 1)
do you believe in love at first sight? i never did until i read those three paragraphs.
Heaven in you
What was once noir became technicolor in my eyes as we began.
Blinded by the reflection of who you used to be my eyes were no longer in my head but in your hands.
I can recall your bloody hands from the prearranged incursion still unlike mine.
Even before your face was made of stone and I started to see the color void from my vision.
Now i know i will never find heaven in you because I can't see without my rose colored glasses.
I am not who i used to be and your hands remained stained.
Not being able to see my favorite things drove me to insanity so I continue to look for heaven in others,
despite the holes in my eyes I would rip another in my chest to live what once was.
