What the heart captured
the poems here tells what my heart feels when I'm at my worst mentally and at best creatively.
The earth took the water
Like skin takes my tears
When I watered my flowers
They bloomed like my cheeks.
They were pretty and big
Like my lips in the spring
But sharp and alarm
Like my thoughts about life.
I wanted to have
An ability like that
To take the sunlight in
And grow like tulips.
I had the garden of flowers
But no need for powers
'Cause the garden was
All actually ours.
We watered the flowers
Had no time for showers
Running from my eyes
Because the world was now ours.
