When we collided
Been taught
How to stay.
Been taught
How to care.
U wasn't my mate
You wasn't my better half
U weren't perfect.
U had majestic flaws.
I wasn't your first.
I didn't need to fall.
I couldn't be your next best lover
I couldn't rate to your better.
But we found heeling together.
We met our first date.
Made love one simple evening.
Talked once then twice.
You became my favourite decision.
I became you second half.
You danced to the tune of my smile.
We died in each other's arms.
When we collided.
CONSEQUENCES
I wrote your name.
Thicker than my eyeballs.
On the back of my shoulder.
I read your name.
Out loud to the audience
From a book of my writing.
We met once in my dreams.
Had a date late night.
Early October that cold evening.
Drunk on your straw
From your margarita glass.
I did talk a lot.
Most of it was nonsense.
Then stole a kiss from your chick.
With lots of confidence.
You did see me choke.
On a bottle of water.
But i never cared.
Sadly my alarm rang.
Can't deny how hard i slapped it.
Off the table.
Then we ended.
You weren't a dream
You were my truest fiction.
The present,
I hide from you just to eye your posture.
Read the words of your lips.
With my imagination.
Last thing i hear was a text.
Louder than the usual
Asking me out for a date.
The consequences
Of my imagination.
