Do crabs think fish are flying?
Crabs Like Me
Don’t fish fly? In a liquid sky?
And wouldn’t they die were it dry?
And don’t crabs long, to sail along
on wishes that fishes supply?
Anchored in sand, gazing ever so high,
clear to the white-caps through compound eyes
unable to rise… though dying to try,
while the flocks of fishes hurry-flurry on by.
