Last Words
His fathers last words, he’d never forget; making him stronger each day and yet,
he was surrounded, engulfed by the wave, of corruption mocking him and his fathers grave in a remorseless display, an immoral masquerade; this version of freedom, of justice.
He untied his law book before the house; this leather bound cutlass, and began to call out -
“Apathy keeps bellies and minds empty, we are stripped bare by the curse of the plenty...”
By Paul David B
Freedom in the flesh; crawling beneath our skin and devouring our humanity
Freedom is an illusion:
we are not able to do as we wish,
bars surround our mind until
we're forced to forget every part
of ourself that we came to believe
was ours. Soon we will all go into
a war and fight against one another
and we will be divided;
no longer united. All that we have
worked for to keep us together
will unfold and untie and we'll be left to wonder why. We have been corrupted to believe we are stronger
than all but that there will be our downfall. Selfishness will engulf our home, turning a spark into a flame and they'll be nothing
except rubble and debris left; but
don't worry, there's plenty of blame to go around. But we will not accept our wrong doings because we ~are~ selfish and we
do not show remorse; no more than the regular sociopath.
Is it too late to turn back?
Love letter
Hello, my love! Well, not yet. Anyways, you don't know me, my love, but very soon I will engulf you, in my love. I've been watching you for a while, you've been getting stronger, my love! That's okay, the kidnappers have plenty more muscle to surround you, my love! When the ropes are untied from your wrists, you will call me my love, my love! My basement was a little corrupt at one point, but I've cleaned it out just for you, my love! You will have very little freedom, my love, but that's because I don't want anyone to hurt you! I want you to forget everyone you know right now, my love! I don't want to see your remorseful tears once you arrive, I will be upset, my love. That's about all! Don't worry about finding me, we'll trace you, my love! I can't wait for us to meet, my love.
-ps. I left a little picture, my love. It's of the two things you will live the rest of your life with, my love. You will sleep with the teddy bear nightly, my love!
Total freedom is death
She constantly surrounds herself with negative people. Her mind and heart has been corrupt for sometime now. The monster lives deep within her soul. It has her all tangled up in chains and constantly torments her. She's had plenty of times for a new chance in life but the monster makes the final decisions for her. I watch her as she pours a bag of the dark demon onto a spoon. As she adds water to it and begins to mix it up I can see the excitement engulf her eyes. I catch her eyes glancing at me. I thought she was going to tell me to not watch her during the next step, but she doesn't. She grabs a belt off the floor Instead. She must have sucked all the darkness into the syringe already because the spoon has nothing left on it besides a dirty cotton ball. The belt is now tied around her arm and I can tell she's ready to forget all the pain in her life. She begins fishing for a good vain. Pushing the syringe in deeper and deeper. I can tell it hurt because her body cringes a few times, but she continues to dig until she sees red in the syringe. She slowly unties the belt and I can see freedom in her eyes. I can hardly even see her pupils. Her body begins to unnaturally slump over and her eyes are now closed. Something's not right. I begin screaming her name and shaking her but it's like screaming and shaking a doll. She's not responding. This dope must have been stronger than what she thought. Her lips are now a bluish color. I instantly feel remorseful because I know she's not coming back from this and I didn't do anything to stop her.
