My life consists of mostly Fall Out Boy so this makes a lot of sense. I love this one because:
A) Patrick Stump's vocal range
B) Patrick Stump's fedora (which is not on in the picture unfortunately)
C) Patrick Stump
D) it has so many different underlying meanings that could be interpreted to the whole mood of the song in so many ways
E) it's beautifully sad
F) it's
G) just

Skinny Love, by Bon Iver (Birdy’s version)
The lyrics are really symbolic and heartfelt. It's very poetic and I love the way it flows. The listener can visualize and empathize with the singer/writer.
Combine that with Birdy's simple piano instrumentation and gorgeous voice and you have literal perfection. She's soul personified. Enthralling. Her voice shakes and she occasinally gets off pitch but you can feel her feel the music as it moves through her fingers and up to her throat and out into the air through her mouth and piano. She is magic.
When Words Fail, Music Speaks
I'm Moving On : Rascal Flatts
This song always spoke to my soul and gave me a hope and meaning in life when i couldn't find one. I relate to it from being trapped by other people in my past, being reminded of mistakes i made when i was even back in Jr. High, how home has become a place i don't belong anymore, that it's time to move on.
When i listen to it, it lets me know that "Life had been patiently waiting for me" and it reminds me that i can't sit around waiting for things to change.
And that's why i got music notes from that song done on my tattoo
"Without music, life would be a mistake"
