Adventurous
Okay so that's it, we're going to have an adventure. Oh I do so like adventures they're just so, you know, exciting aren't they? Okay to have an adventure we are going to first discuss where we shall have it. You can't have much of an adventure when you're stuck in the house darling, we need somewhere exciting .....how about a cave adventure, that would be really something wouldn't it? Or an adventure in Africa - gosh that would be exciting too, or an undersea adventure. Oh there's just so many exciting places I simply can't decide.
What shall we do on this adventure? We can't just go to Africa and sit around, we need something exciting to do to make it memorable. We could maybe search for a lost tribe, or go on an elephant safari - that would be awesome. Okay, it's settled, we'll go to Africa on an Elephant Safari that would make an exciting adventure eh?
But something needs to happen that is exciting or a little bit dangerous, that would make it even more exciting. I know, we go to Africa on an Elephant Safari and while we're there we find a lost tribe of people...oh wow that's just about the best adventure ever!
Yes, but what if after we find the lost tribe then one of us goes missing and we have to hunt for them, maybe in a deep dark cave - wow, that would be the best adventure ever don't you think?
But how would we end it? I don't know but it has to be an exciting climax - that's it, we go to Africa on an Elephant Safari and while we're there we find a long lost tribe of people, so far so good, but one of us gets lost somewhere in a deep dark cave and we have to find them, that's it!! We have to find them quickly to give them their medicine which we have.
Of course, we would find them just in the nick of time as they lay dying in a dark part of the cave, then we have to get them to the surface to catch the plane home.
Oh my, this is sounding like the best adventure ever. Who's going to volunteer to get lost in the cave?
@Ema31 okay then it's decided!
Formula For Writing Adventure
1. Hidden secret
2. Initial danger and/or death of a friend/relative that causes the MC (main character) to be in danger
3. The Chase
4. The Search - searching for the key item(s) that will remedy the threat
5. The Final Confrontation - usually there is something unexpected that was initiated in the background but now comes to fruition, usually for the benefit of the MC and party
