Birth of CreepyPasta: Slender Man Edition
Started with an image
That was fake
But quickly spread
People came up with the stories
Behind this mythical man
Until everyone knew his name
Slenderman
However
Don't they know
That the more you believe it
The more likely
It will exist
So many people
Centered their thoughts
Around this creature
Their fears combining
To form a physical shape
From the darkness
Emerged
The man in the suit
Tall and pale
No face
Just a blank slate
Of nightmares
Paired with tentacles
Seeming to creep up
On you
Without actually moving
Staring right into you
Without act actually seeing
Invoking fear in one
By just being glimpsed
He was born online
From our continuing stories
And tales
Our fear that grew
And passed into the living
Thus was the birth of Slenderman
