Your God May be, but My God is Not that Cruel
God is a being known by many different names.
To some God is the creator of the universe to others an adult fairytale.
And depending on who you ask;
God may be cruel and smit thee, be kind and help thee, or simply ignore thee.
God may ask you to kill your brothers in his name or ask you to shelter the wounded and innocent from harm.
God may tell you to judge and punish the sinners or extend your hand to help them.
God may threaten brim and hell fire or promise eternal life in heaven.
To the rich, God may tell them that money is a reward and being poor is a product of laziness.
To the poor or struggling, God may tell them to give all they can and be thankful for the blessings they have received.
For you see, which God you believe in is a product of your own interpretations and can be manipulated into whatever you want it to be. So those who kill in his name only wanted justification or cause to rally the troops. Those who spread hate and violence against homosexuals, women who have abortions, or other moral sins seem to not realize that these types of sins (whether they actually are sins or not I will not get into here) are between the sinner and God. For him to judge and forgive, if it is needed. Whether you believe in God or not the real underlying values of treating people kindly, helping those in need, not stealing or killing people are important values. It is people who destroy these teachings and skew it to hate and genocide. People are the devil here, not God.
He’s God.
Who is God? He's God. Our one and only savior . Our father. Our life planner, creator, and guider . He's what gives us hope in life, what pushes us to be great . We look up to him, literally. He is a man who everyone should strive to be like. Someone who sacrificed his one and only son , to save all of us. To give us an opportunity , and a chance to live eternally in heaven . He is God.
God is
A kid terrorizing and anthill with magnifying glass, that kind old bus driver who waits just a second longer so no one misses their ride, an alley cat who howls at all hours of the night, a sound wave blasting out of a trumpet in a Dixieland band. God is many things, but there isn't a thing he isn't.
God
God is the title we present to the force that started everything.
God constructed the universe and everything within it.
God constructed our concepts of time and space, and all constituents of them.
According to whatever religion you subscribe to (and there are no wrong answers here), God is responsible for all of nature, and all that goes on within it.
To believe in God is to believe in everything he created, including mans scientific endeavours. This must include sciences explanations regarding nature and the universe in which we live.
God is all he created.
God is love, and God is all
