New History
If you're an American, then you probably know what the Revolutionary War is. Of course, this was the famous war between the colonists and Great Britain. The colonists were able to defeat Great Britain and gain their independence, thus creating America. However, the British at the time was one of the world's most feared nations. They were a global superpower, way more ahead of the game than even the colonists. So, has it ever dawned on you how the colonists managed to win the war? How they managed to take down a country so much more prepared themselves? Well, then you came to the right place.
This will focus on the man who goes down as a legend for Americans, a man who led as a formidable general and an even better President. That man is none other than George Washington. Of course, the man was absolutely brilliant being able to out think the British and always be one step ahead, but how did he do it? Well, it all started at the Battle of Bunker Hill. The colonists were being pushed back, retreat not an option for George Washington. Seeing his fellow commrades get struck down one by one by the threatening British across from them Washington began strike his fists against the ground. Over and over again he'd smash his fists into the dirt below him. "We will not surrender!" He shouted over and over again. Time began to grow slower eacht ime he stuck the ground, until everything became motionless. Washington, looking up, began to notice that everyone around him was completely still. "Incredible!" he said as walked around the surrounding gunfire, tapping bullets midair. "What kind of black magic is this?"
"Not magic at all actually, just pure power."
"Who said that?" questioned Washington spinning around to come face to face with a bird-like being. "Who are you?"
"I'm the oracle of your universe. I know all outcomes before they happen, I know all decisions before they are made. I know that the colonists will lose this war, and the British will lead the world to a new age of destruction and blodd shed."
"Then let me fight them, lend me your power!"
"What makes you think I will lend a mere human my power?"
"Why else would you have allowed me to converse with you here? I know you don't want the British to win as much as I do. Lend me your power and I will make sure your wish comes true."
"So be it." Everything went up in hot flash of white, returning Washington to pounding the ground in frustration, but things were different now, he was different now. Washington was now granted the ability of slowing time down, which contributed to the winning outcome of his battles. At the Battle of Bunker Hill he yelled out his famous quote, "Men, you are all marksmen -- don't one of your fire until you see the whites of their eyes." It didn't really matter when they colonists shot or how they shot, every single bullet hit its target.
