Gruesome, gruesome, gruesome… EHHHH! I miss being at camp and having hikes in the forest with you as our naturalist. You taught me so much about nature, stepping out of your comfort zone, and to be yourself. You showed us how goofy and a little weird you can be at times, but that’s how you taught our hiking group to be ourselves. That’s probably one of the things look up to you by. Drue, I want to thank you so much for a great experience at day campo that I will remember forever because of you. My experience wouldn’t have been the same without you as my naturalist and leader

I’ll never forget the Gruesome Rainbow Unicorns. I really liked our hiking group. We had Joshua, Marco, Alex, Evan, Gabby, Katherine, Rita, Rossi, Emma and Beth! Beth was such a cool person to be around and such nice person. Evan and Alex always made me laugh throughout our hikes. Marco was the fastest up the hill and around the corner. Joshua always raised his hand and answered all the questions, which I look up to him doing. Rita and Katherine were sort of shy but at the end of the week they were open to our group. Gabby was usually around Evan, Alex and Rossi which I could see why. They’re all Holy Spirit. Gabby was a friendly and open to me the day we met each other. The most unfortunate thing was that Rossi had to leave camp! That bugged me so much when we went on our next hikes. I wouldn’t have wanted any other hiking group than the one I had at camp. My full experience would have not been fulfilled without all of them.

Drue, you’re such an inspiration to me. Honestly, you have impacted my life so much. You taught me to take risks and to see nature in a different way than before. You showed me the enthusiasm and positivity that you had spreading it around camp. You showed me the emotion and satisfaction when you let yourself open to others. You showed me how we could work as a team throughout the activities we did as a group. You taught me that we could be a little weird in our own way and be unique. During the night hike; you were there to help each one of us to reach our goal. I wish I could come back and do it all over again. Drue thank you so much for being a great leader and inspiration to me.
