LIVE IT, humbly.
“If you cant feed a hundred people, then just feed one,” said Mother Teresa. Generosity is freely sharing what you have with others. Just like what Mother Teresa had in her lifetime. One of the best things you can do for someone is offer your heart or a helping hand in times of need or whenever you want to.
To begin with, what generosity means to me in three words are giving, choosing, and thoughtful. These words mean generosity to me because giving is obviously what you need in being generous. Choosing is another word that means generosity to me because you can choose to be generous to anyone you want or give anything. Thoughtful is another word that means generosity to me because if you think about it, you’ll make a person’s day and life happier. Overall what I think generosity means to me is willing to give money, hope, prayer, or happiness without a reward back. What my dad thinks generosity means is giving more than ones desire. What it means in the dictionary is to have the quality of being kind, plentiful, understanding, unselfish, and generous.
The most admirable person in my opinion, who was generous, is Mother Teresa. She gave her time and effort to the poorest, depressed, and ill people and gave them hope. She led them to a brighter place in this world by sharing the words of God and her heart. She didn’t need expensive gifts to become a generous person. What she gave to those people was her heart, love, and her great words. Mother Teresa gave them a special meaning that impacted all the people’s lives she helped.
A time I did not have generosity? Well I cant really think of one because I may not have been in a situation like this before, but if I actually think about it, if we all do, we have all these iPhones, and other electronics, that we don’t think about those people struggling for food and money. If we realize that some of us may have three course meals everyday and those people don’t, then we can at least contribute to a slim part of being generous. We can donate, think and realize these people don’t have as much as we have and we can change that. So in my realization, I can become more aware and donate things to these people. Generosity can all help us become one great helping nation and become fruitful.
