I wish I could rewrite our history.

I would erase all the lies and mistakes,

and make sure that we never fall apart.

There are patterns. Nuances to society that inhibit different perceptions. We can imagine variations on specific events, but because of a trending historical/societal pattern, I know that even slight differences contribute to a different angle.
