Switch Up Your Style
Write something in a style or genre you don't usually write in. Not a poet? Try your hand at poetry. Usually write nonfiction? Maybe try some fiction for a change. Typically a romance writer? Write something in horror then. Just try something new and different. Switch up your style, expand your writing skill set, and most importantly, have fun doing it!

TEST

I took a bath, packed my bag, had cornflakes and hurriedly walked my way to school thinking about the topic that me and Eric were supposed to discuss today. I was eager but at the same time filled with anxiety. I had no clue what to do and only Eric can guide me in this.

I'm pathetically weak at that subject. I don't wanna fail this time.

I reached school, it was Saturday and therefore the rush was less. I took my science book from the locker,

"Chris!"

I turned back to see who called my name. "The voice felt like of Eric.", I thought to myself.

Only he understands me well but where is he?!

Maybe I'm early today. May be.

I asked Susan, the know-all girl of my class, "Hey Susan! Have you seen Eric?" Is he even present?" She told me that she has seen him going to the washroom. Though I'm not gay still I feel sick without him.

I started walking towards to the washroom which was pretty close to my class. I kept looking around me. I love the jolly morning of the sickening weekend.

"Oucchhhcccch!!!!"

I got unbalanced as someone bumped into me. I looked in the front to see who was that blind asshole who couldn't see me!

My eyes went blank - she was all over me!

"I'm so sorry! I tripped!", her black eyes said. My face struggled to nod and saying that I was fine felt like a blade splitting my tongue. She turned back and started shouting at the boy who stood meekly with a blue Nike bag, he looked down at his shoes, correcting his spectacles which shined with sorry.

"Don't you have freaking sense of walking?! I almost fell down! For goodness watch your steps!", she scolded and all this time my nose collected her scent in little vials to be kept in the lab of my brain.

Ahhh! I wanna experiment on you! Burn you little! Smell you more! Untie your hair to make the room and then be with you forever in the sink. Pouring a drop of acid and spreading the colorful salts all over you. Testing your happiness with those litmus papers and making love with you the way two solutions mix. Molecule after molecule. One by one. Shut up! Shut up! Oh Chris! You're such a disgusting science jerk! She's a girl not your practical that needs to be performed! Thankfully no one can hear what you think otherwise...

She again looked at me and this time she smiled. My heart was long gone. She turned back to frown at that boy who was too long gone. She walked away. "Chris! Will you please distribute these copies? I've been called in the Principal office..", my Science teacher, Miss Qurina, handed over me the bundle and I had to take them. Had to. I walked in the class, distributed the copies and my heartbeat felt slow not because they were many copies but my body hasn't still came out of the shock it felt in the corridor. I took a sigh and sat on my bench. In no time Miss Qurina came and asked to take out our books.

"Cmon Chris! At least say thanks to me! I helped you with the subject.", the boy on my left said. I took away his glasses as he was taking out his book from the blue Nike bag. "Sir! That was a hella surprise....test! Thanks Eric!", I smiled at my best friend.
