Chapter-XVIII: Shravan Kumar
It was a beautiful day.
The forest region of Ayodhya was bright green and it's trees were dancing in breeze, yet there were complaints from peasants. They told that there were some wild animals that attacked farmers, farmlands, etc.,
The king went to the forest with his bow and arrows. He heard a noise near the river, it was like an animal drinking water. Hearing the sound he used the "Shabdhabaan" an arrow which uses sound waves to detect it's target.
The target was hit, bit suddenly the king heard a human cry from the direction. He was terrified and ran towards the voice. He saw a young man bleeding. Dashrath fell on his knees before the young man and tried to help him.
But the young man said,"Oh lord, what good deeds did do to die in the hands of the great rightfull ruler of Ayodhya." The words "rightfull ruler", pierced Dhashrath's heart. He told,"Oh youngman, don't worry, I will save you". The youngman chuckled humourlessly and added," my lord a dieing man knows his last breaths better than anyoune". Dhashrath was shocked to hear this and asked,"Who are you 'Mama praja'(My son)".
The young man said I am Shravan the son of Shantanu and Gyanvanti.
The king realized the aged blind couple. The young man requested the king to give water to his blind parent before his death and closed his eyes on Dhashrath's lap. Dhashrath was shocked to learn that the man he killed was the said great "ShravanKumar" who was the greatest pitru/matru bhakt of the era.
Chapter-XVII: King Dhashrath
King Dashrath is considered as one of the greatest kings of Suryavansh/Raghuvansh.
There are many controversies about the number of wives he had, but his 3 crowned queens are the most commonly known ones. His wife Khousalya is said to be the topmost ranked one and was the mother of his daughter Devi Shantha.
The kingdom was very happy about their little angel, but seeing the misery of King Rompad and Queen Vershini of Angadesh, King Dashrath gave his lovely daughter to the childless couple. The couple were very happy with their new daughter, but no one knew that the upcoming future had a great twist in their fates.
Chapter-xvi: The sisters
The four princesses loved each other and were always together.
Sita was a great influence for the other 3 girls. She being the eldest of the 4 took the responsibility of taking care and correcting the other 3 during the time they were playing or learning.
She took great interest in cooking classes, whereas the other 3 followed her footsteps. They all loved their elder sister and listened to her advice. She was a very intelligent and Kindhearted girl which made everyone love her.
The girls used to give her the best of their toys and on the other hand Sita too used to do the best for her sisters. She was less than 9 years old when she did a surprising stunt which made the whole palace dumbstruck. King Jananka who was worried about her marriage decided to use this as an opportunity, while he had no idea that it was not just her but for all the 4 princesses to leave the palace.
